Our team has been working hard on a major upgrade for Chatling, designed with your feedback and needs in mind for the past several months.
Today, we're thrilled to announce the launch of Chatling 2.0. The new version brings many new features and improvements, including an all-new visual builder.
Let's take a look at what has changed.
Version 2.0 Changes
1. Drag-and-Drop visual builder
You now have full control over the flow of the chatbot and can design it visually using the new drag-and-drop builder.
This allows for building complex chatbots with ease and provides the ability to make adjustments on the fly based on changing requirements.
2. Blocks
Chatbots can be built using Blocks. With them, you can build fully custom chatbots that cater to a wide array of interactions and functions.
These blocks range from basic text and image messages to more complex elements like form submissions and HTTP requests to external services.
3. Define the chatbot's behavior when the AI cannot find an answer
You can define the chatbot's path when the AI cannot answer a question. For instance, the chatbot can ask the user to fill their contact details so that your team can get back to them with an answer.
4. Versioning
Any changes done to the chatbot in the builder will be saved as a draft version. This allows you and your team to test the chatbot comprehensively before making it live by publishing the chatbot.
Upgrading to V2.0
The new version is now available to all users on free and paid plans. To upgrade your chatbot to v2.0, go to the Settings section of your chatbot.
After upgrading, no action is required, but we recommend reviewing the Builder and the chatbot widget on your website to ensure it's working as expected.
As always, we encourage you to share your feedback and inform us of any bugs or issues you encounter.
